Gininda's 16 points and 6 assists give him Player of the Week award

26-year old swingman Sifiso Gininda (186-G/F-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Kwa-Zulu Marlins and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had the game-high 16 points adding six rebounds and six assists for KZ Marlins in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team NW Eagles (#6, 0-2) with 32-point margin 89-57. It allowed Marlins to consolidate first place in the South African league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but KZ Marlins already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Gininda had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Marlins, through which he has constantly improved. Sifiso Gininda averages this season 12.8ppg and 7.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Xolane Mhlongo. He is a in his first season at KZ Marlins. In the last game Mhlongo recorded an impressive double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Of course together with Gininda he helped Kwa-Zulu Marlins with another comfortable win outscoring NW Eagles (#6, 0-2) 89-57. Of course Marlins still keep Group B's top spot. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Mhlongo is a newcomer at Marlins and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to another KZ Marlins' star - Tirivashe Gapara. Gapara scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Kwa-Zulu Marlins, helping his team with a 89-57 easy win against NW Eagles (#6, 0-2). Marlins started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in Group B. Gapara turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Gapara has a very solid season. In 4 games in South Africa he scored 12.3ppg.
